I find that how you ask is important too, if you just walk up without a
proper howdy do, and a good poor mouth story, (My cups blew out the
back of the truck on I110, or I'm such a idiot, I forgot the cups & my GF
is on me hard, could ya help me out?) will usually get you all the help you
need, true Cajuns will treat you better than their own family, unless they
think your trying to take advantage of them!

You should have filmed them with your cell phone. You could have posted the video or pics and had the whole TF coimmunity shun these people.
