Tennessee's "great" defensive line who only averaged giving up 46 yds a game on the ground gave up 160+ yards to Bama's option attack. Our backup tailback managed 141 yards by himself. If Bama's defense can slow up Davey this game shouldn't even be close. I keep hearing LSU people saying "If Toefield is healthy we will win by more than ten." Out of Bama's four losses this season, they were by 3(UCLA), 1(South Carolina), 3(Ole Miss), and 11 (Tennessee), and we led all four in the 4th quarter. I just don't think LSU has the talent to match up against the Tide at Tuscaloosa and while these are only my opinions, I welcome the replies of LSU fans. Roll Tide and I hope to see all of you Tigers making the trip this Saturday!
I will be making the trip with a few friends. Can't wait to see the Tigers come away with another road win. I think we will win, maybe not by ten, but we will definately stop the TIDE.
LSU By Four. I think it'll be close...21-17 Tigers...LSU starts strong and holds on; Bama will knock on the door but not be able to get it done in the fourth. I think that we have a much better chance of putting together a complete game. In any case, I hope it's a hard-fought game with no major injuries on either side. On another note, some friends of mine here in Colorado are heading to the game, because we all agree that Tuscaloosa is among the most fun road games that the Tigers play.
What a quandry. A lifelong Bama/LSU fan. No doubt Tuscaloosa is the best place to come for college football. I'll be there Saturday and all I can say is Roll Tide. Bama by 7. I'll also be in Tiger Stadium on 12-1-01 for LSU/Auburn in the second best place to see college football. Geaux Tigers.
Ok, so I'm a part time Tiger fan, but with only two trips to Tiger Stadium under my belt. Most of my experience has been in Tuscaloosa. I hope to experience a little more of the food and a lot more of the women come December 1st. Geaux Tigers!
