It is true that teams that end up winning national championships in recent years have been heavily penalized... but just 7 games into the season??? That's a national championship to you? That doesn't make sense.

I knew you wouldn't look up THIS stat...because it would make you look stupid for correcting my already correct post. Incredibly nit picky...especially if you DID actually look it up to see that UF was 2 worst in the NCAA in '06, and LSU was 3rd worst in the NCAA in '07. I'm really stunned that you are continuing this joke...the joke is now on you...and YOU did it. Again, you really should stop. I still think you're credible...BECAUSE you usually come with stats to back yourself up. But this is silly, man. Just admit my point was dead on and let's move on.

And no. I do NOT think Bama is an NC caliber team. Go check out the thread in which Red praises their prolific offense...and I corrected THAT with the fact that they scored ONE offensive TD Saturday...and have as much trouble in the red zone as LSU does. But to use that silly stat to say LSU>Bama is silly, man.
Fine, I'll agree with you that national championship teams end up getting a lot of penalites. If that is all you were pointing out, then fine... I agreed with you on that as soon as I read it. But Bama is only 7 games into the season... they are only half way to being a "national championship team."
