I heard that Bama was going to have to drop a number of their current players on scholarships to make room for the large current recruiting class. Is that really true?
I think most teams have players who "decide" not to renew each year. Some years more encouragement is given.
7-6 record, I'm not talking about playing it up a game or two a season, I'm talking about being a legit contender. We were and they were definitely not, most don't expect them to be next year either.
exactly right, like I said, it's the whole body of work for the entire season, any team can under/over achieve for a game or two.
this was the quote: maybe not "teams" but they competed against the only national champion team I know of last year.
The fact that they competed against us doesn't make them a good team. If that were true then Va. Tech would be a bad team cause we killed them. Gotta look at the entire season, not just one game.
I never contended they were a good team. he said they werent able to compete against nc caliber teams. I contended they did since that team was us. if they sucked even moreso before winning the nc in recruiting, whatd that say about us. we certainly werent overlooking them.
The war is on, folks. Not only will we beat Bama this year, but Miles will out recruit Saban next year as well. Louisiana high school talent is plenty for the next class and Miles is all in and will be raking in a huge pot. Mark it. :geauxtige
