When I first read the article about this in the paper my first thought was "this isn't a bright idea" because I knew it would tick some people off. Thinking about it, I realized it was nothing more than an attempt at smack talk without having to talk. Most of the Bama fans that I talk to frequently had the same thought about it as I did...and a good majority made a point of obsession with Coach Bryant.
Oh boy, I've seen plenty of dead mutilated hung Tigers in my day. There just sore cause we own them. Personally I would rather wear our stuff then theirs.
Probably not a representative sample of all UA fans. I hope! But since they are this sensitive I think we have a "houndstooth day" next year at the Bama game. We do have a tradition and its a new one. Its beating Bama 5yrs straight and safety blitzing their QBs.:LSU231: :helmet: :milesmic:
they're upset over a hat? tell them to grab another mini tiger and put a noose around it and drag it on the ground like they did saturday.
Quite frankly, I wasn't going to bother with buying a hat like that but now that I know they hate them so much, I think I'll pick up two.
We will have to make it possible for every one in P&G for the Alabama game next year has one of these hats.
Actually I think that at next years game Mike the Tiger should be wearing one. It seems that simple thinking people are easily upset. I just had the honor of speaking with a Gump fan. Their spin on the game is that they have so poor talent and our coach is bad. I think that is lame to bad mouth your own team to try to take glory from another. Sad.
i dont like the hats. the bama program is on par with OM, MSU and Arky and should be treated as such. mocking their history just makes them feel important.
