losing to a lesser opponent the week after a big game isn't exactly a rarity in college football. it happens. it's easy to say "these kids should be up for every game", but the reality is, that just doesn't happen. sometimes it's hard to get excited about playing against Troy or La Tech. do i like it? no, but i understand that it hapens to everyone.
I don't mind the Sugar bowl so much, it's the undefeated dink conference teams they pair you with, that makes a nice trip to New Orleans a pill. Utah, TCU, Boise State, one of them is coming.
Bama game most important game to LSU, the last three years. But, last season a lot less hazy then this time. Last year, at the time of the game, we both could make the argument, you win, you're in. This year, three teams control their own destiny and two of them reside in the state of Alabama. This one on the gigantic meter, might be bigger then them all. Kind of like Florida in the SECCG.
Ok, so some of you didn't think this was the biggest game since Ohio State, however, would you agree that this is the biggest win since Ohio State?
In the big picture, this is a huge win. One that could have a major effect on the rest of the season. One thing for sure is that the team will not be quitting after this game. The funny phenomenon is how many of the naysayers all of the sudden have changed their tune.
