They hire photographers now. Individual, private sessions on location. Some people utilize barn settings, State park grounds, etc.
The had a photographer then too. We all went to the gym and he had a background screen set up and took our pics and we went back to class. I'm not even sure if my parents knew it was picture day.

Exactly. She took her "school" senior pictures all the way back in the summer. Her graduating class has around 1600 people, so we had to go online and book a 10 minute appointment. There were about 10 days that the company did that. This one will be on location in downtown Plano at a park. She'll bring about 3 or 4 outfit changes, including her drill team boots, hats, letter jacket, and some UNT gear. Obviously, she needs mom there...and maybe a friend or two to work on her makeup. Which reminds me that I need to get her a hair and nails appointment.
jeebus! Why doesn't she just get a friend to take the pics with a phone and post them to Facebook and Instagram?
Kids/parent want yearbooks but yeah, the school gets a good cut off the purchases. Forget what percentage.
That picture is not evident and live it was even worse. It was not the correct call, and it takes a loose interpretation of the rules to call and verify that penalty. The Bama targeting was more clear but that one wasn’t called. Hmm...
