My head says take Bama giving up 30; their offense is complete, our defense is still a work in progress, our offense is stale, is starting TJ again, and just lost Marshall, their defense is a Saban defense.

My heart says take LSU +30; defense is improving, Orgeron seems to comprehend and adjust to issues better than most (still haven’t lost two in a row) so our offense should be improved. We have skilled receivers even without Marshall, Gilbert can get more involved. This is our Super Bowl, Bama probably isn’t expecting much from us.

I’m going with my heart, which is still predicting a loss.

 

Looks like the final line is going to be 29 1/2 & the O/U 66 1/2. I still think Bama covers both numbers easily.

 

Looks like the largest underdog from a defending national champion in 40 years.
