Totally disagree with this. Look at the rushing stats and that will tell you which lines played better. LSU 148 to Bama's 96 - 18 of which came on TRs first run of the game.

It was very close but also look at pass protection. For the most part Mccarron had all day to throw. In passing downs, when LSU actually looked to pass there wasnt much time. We did run the ball well though.

They broke off some big runs here/there, but bottom line is - not only did we hold TR to under 100yrs, no TD and 3 yards per carry, but we held their whole team, including heir apparent Lacey to under 100 yrds. I'd say our D-line outplayed theirs.

The only thing I can see that our Defense needs to work on is covering a running back out of the backfield.....every other phase of defense was dominating.....we just simply did not make any adjustments to cover the running backs out of the backfield. I was very pleased to see how they stuffed the run.
