1. Big-8, Big-10, I always got them Iowa schools confused. I'll edit the post, Hawker.

I've never actually been to Iowa City, but I have been to Ames. Never seen so many of the biggest, squarest cornfields in my life.
  2. On the banks of the beautiful Iowa River. (The trees were farked)
  3. And this just in:

Tour Bus Crashes Enroute To Ames

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- A semitrailer carrying cattle overturned Tuesday morning on Interstate 35, and traffic was detoured as authorities worked to round up cattle that had escaped.
Rush hour traffic in both directions was backed up because the accident, which occurred about 7 a.m.
At least two cows were seen running in the median between lanes of traffic.
Crews were continuing to work to clear the semi and the other animals inside the trailer.
    ----------------------------------

News now reporting the passengers were on their way to Ames for the cheerleading try-outs. This is so sad.

  4. pssst red.......look up this thread a few posts and see who brought up the corndog thing. Hint......it wasn't an Aubie.:dis:
  5. Com' on, PT. I brought it up only as an analogy of how stupid those getting riled up about the guy who snuck in to the Bama meeting.

To be honest, I had forgotten all about it until the Aubie '06 brought it up in his "ready for Jordan-Hare" thread. It was just luck that I remembered where I first heard it...and thanks to google found the link to that post on a Florida forum.

I've never been a big fan of smack talk...especially when I find examples like the aforementioned thread. It reminded me of a sig...Artificial Intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
  6. I love the smell of corndogs in the morning !
  7. They smell like . . . Victory!

  8. Lighten up Terry. I was just kidding. Like Joe Theisman once said "it don't take a genius like Norman Einstein to figure that out.":hihi: :hihi:
  9. Just another shining example of why Notre Dame is the "bastion of higher education!" :yelwink2:
  10. Now you're dating yourself. The Big XII has been just that... since 1996.
