Barnett reportedly on the way out at Colorado

It's going to be interesting to see who succeeds Barnett. Unless a group of deep pocketed boosters steps up to the plate it's going to be tough for the cash strapped CU Athletic Dept to hire a big name like Mariucci or Davis. The fact that they will have to pay Barnett almost two million was cause for concern in Boulder.

 

If they hire Davis there will be thousands of people in the state of Arkansas hanging themselves. :hihi:

Rumor has it that Mariucci is the ADs first choice. The questions are (1) Can they afford him and (2) Is he interested in returning to coaching at the collegiate level?

Press reports have stated that the AD wanted the new coach waiting in the wings before they canned Barnett. It will be interesting to see if the new coach is announced tonight.

 

Get this sh*t. It looks like Arkansas is going to hire that QB's head football coach from high school and make him their OC. Just to get the kid to come play for them. Unfreakingbelivable.
