I agree. The problem tonight has been ineffective hitting by LSU. Rinaudo has not been at his best tonight, but he has been good enough for a win.
I wasn't really limiting it to tonight's game. We just haven't shut down or closed out many opponents this season as we rarely have a dominant pitching performance. How many games have we held our breath as we're never sure if a lead will hold? We missed our chances the first few innings to knock him out.
I didnt tell you what to do.... Been here all season, just don't post all the time. Just trying to keep things positive. :LSU231:
Okay...a couple of runs here can get us back in it!!! Let's geaux Tigers!!! Damn...one pitch later and the inning is over.
Sorry J, I had to stop reading right there. This kid was unhittable tonight, at least after the first few innings. His change is amazing, 11 SOs, only 2 walks. LSU batters looked silly all night. Decent doesn't even come close to describing Baeur's night.
Just hard to watch at this point. Going to be particularly painful when we score 5 in the ninth and lose on that 2-out single in the top half.
