Timely hits would fix what ails this team. Last night's crusher was because of that and the fact that we don't have a closer. Manieri didn't trust Ott in that situation so he went with Berry who had been doing OK. CPM's hunches usually work out but not this time. We all got pumped after the CSF sweep but the blown save in game 1 vs. Florida took away all of that momentum. Except for the 16-3 debacle, this team has played every opponent tough. This is not our year, apparently, but we have talent and the youngsters will come around. The most frustrating part is the monster pitching performances by our starters that have been wasted. I hope Tiger fans don't turn against this team.
