Baseball Polls 2/13

Oh I know that a successful weekend is to win 2 out of 3. No way that the coachign staff and players are not trying to win all three and get the sweep though.

 

I disagree. With the extremely low level of competition we prior to SEC play we should lose no more than 3 games.

 

That my friend is why you are not coaching.

 

How long have you been following LSU baseball? As 99 correctly pointed out, the early games are for gauging talent and setting the lineups and rotations. You don't think Smoke could have coached to win that game yesterday? He wants to see what these guys are made of. I'd rather have Harris blow a game in February than in June. I don't give a damn if we lose 10 games before conference play if it helps us to win the SEC and beyond.

of course they want to win all 3. The goal the coaches state specifically before the season is to win 2 of 3 each SEC series.

true. ill speak to turtle about sweeping everyone this year as the new goal. its about time we had a baseball team go undefeated but we already have to wait til next year.
