    Texas went 4-1 during the week with a Monday loss to Stanford and a sweep of Villanova over the weekend. They stayed at #11 in one poll and dropped from #7 to #14 in the other. Go figure.

    Early season baseball polls are entertaining but usually worthless.

    I have never been a big fan of the collegiate baseball site. I prefer the Baseball America site. I don't always agree with them, but at least when questioned during the Will Kimmey chats they have pretty good reasoning for ranking teams the way they do.
