Beat a decent Texas State team 10-1. Great performance from Justin Meier. Just thought I'd start a baseball thread before we drop a couple and a few guys here start calling for Smoke's head and comparing him to St. Nick.
I haven't seen a game yet this year since I'm here in texas. I would love to see them on t.v. here? Probably not gonna happen. They sound as if they are just dismantling people. Any eye witness reports from the field?
This team has the potential to win it all this year. I've seen them a couple times in person and they can tear the cover off the ball. Pitching and defense is also spectacular. If they dont go into a big slump towards the end of the season, I seen them going a long way. Lets hope so, GEAUX TIGERS.
Last year I saw several games on TV up here in Tennessee...but that may be because this is SEC territory. But the games weren't all SEC games.
This team is strong! I was there last night and we looked solid. On a side note that Harris homerun almost hit me.
I think thats overdoing it a little SabanFan......... Its not about losses its about being able to compete for what its worth
It's a short trip for me to Omaha...can't wait. It'll be my first LSU sporting event since Dec. 2002.
Re: Re: Baseball Tigers Exactly!!!! Brady's win loss numbers don't look all that bad it's the way they play and the lack of improvement both individually and as a team. It's also all the little things that top notch coaches do yet Brady finds below him such as promoting the team and connecting with the fans.:geaux: :lsug:

Its not all about losses, this team has been inconsistantly bad all year, very little game flow or continuity on this team. I'm not saying we could've or should've won all those games but I am saying this team has been inconsistant all year and haven't shown very little improvement like the "good" or "normal" teams do over the season. Injuries can cause you to lose a game every once in a while but its a really bad thing when your routed 3 games in a row because of that. This team can't compete without Jaime and he won't be here next year, plain and simple.... Someone will have to step up or this team is dead in the water, whether its a frosh or sophmore or will we be too young again? Having said that I'm hoping for a surprise tomorrow and just maybe this team can pull a rabbit out of a hat because after the last 3 games we're due a good game. Its a bad pattern to have! We Lost 3 more in a row so does that mean we will win the next 4? Lets hope so! Good Luck Coach Brady and the Tigers tomorrow!
