Where were Duke's all americans when they lost those 3 games? Where were Louisiville's once #1 ranked players when they dropped 5 in a row? And just to demonstrate where you are coming from, you characterize the Bama win as pulling on out of a hat. Face it. You are not happy unless we win every game and have to find a scape goat if, God forbid, we actually play a team that might be better than us.

I wasn't going to repond to your origional post here but I think you go way overboard in your posts sometimes.

Like I said on the other post I wasn't going to say anymore about this situation but I wasn't going to let you get away with what you said about certain posters at the top of the page including
myself.

You can't argue the fact that this team should be able to compete
against teams that aren't in the top 25 such as Vandy, Auburn.

In other words Injuries effect games but there is no way you should be blown out against someone like Auburn much less 3 games in a row.

Like I also said, Jaime will be gone so a fresh and soph will have to take over down low, does that mean we're to young to win
next year also?

Determan came on for Mestepay in the 7th with a man on third and the score 1-1. Tigers scratched out a run in the 8th and held on for the win. It's good to see our pitching win the game when our hitters get shut down. That's a sign of a team that can go far. Texas State actually out hit the Tigers. Horwath will be out for a couple of weeks according to Smoke but Hebert seems to be a damn good shortstop. Catholic High of New Iberia, Hebert's high school has a good baseball program and they've got a couple of kids worth watching.

 

isnt it great to see our pitchers throw 'average' by their standards and give up one run 2 nights in a row?
