Way to go guys ! Appreciate the PBP Buddy. I feel a lot better than last Sunday.

 

Good outings by Matulis, Bertuccini and Rittinger. Late in the game it looked like we decided to swing and quit looking at pitches.

Another nice win and I didn't have to chew my nails.

 

very, very good series win! of course it is always great to get a series win over the second best team in the SEC.

in other games, bama dropped the final game in their series against vandy to drop their SEC record to 2-1.

#19 KU got swept in a DH against saint louis university (!!!) so the jayhawks 0-4 since taking 2/3 against us last weekend.

tulane swept st. mary to run their win streak to 9 straight.

USL, who we get in a midweek game wed, lost to SLU last wednesday and dropped 2/3 to south alabama.

tennessee, who we play next weekend in knoxville, got swept by the 16th ranked gamecocks. so don't expect an easy series next weekend either.

I'd still like to see Matulis give up less walks, but he definitely has promise. Bertuccini and Rittiner showed why I'm not worried about the 'pen.
