  1. #10/#12/#18/#23 South Carolina (4-1) lost to #13/#21/#22/#22 East Carolina (C-USA) 3-4 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Cocks beat them 6-2.

    #15/#16/#17/NR Arkansas (4-1) beat Troy (Sun Belt) 10-6 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Hogs beat them 10-1.

    #24/#24/#24/NR Ole Miss (5-1) beat Oakland (Summit Conference) 10-2 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Rebs beat them 9-1.


    Miss State (4-2) lost to 6-0 Southeastern Louisiana (Southland Conference) 5-8 in Game 2 of 3. The MSU Cows lost to SLU 1-4 yesterday.

    Auburn (3-2) lost to 3-1 Missouri (Big XII), 7-11 in the Auburn Tournament. Yesterday, Auburn beat Boston College (ACC), 6-5. Tomorrow, Auburn plays Florida Atlantic.

    Tennessee (4-1) beat #10/#17/#20/#25 Oregon State (Pac 10) 9-2 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Vols lost to them 1-17.

    Kentucky (5-0) beat Bowling Green (MAC) 4-3 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Cats beat them 6-4.

    Bama (5-0) beat Illinois-Chicago (Horizon Conference) 25-1 and 4-3 in a double-header (Games 2 and 3). Yesterday, the Tide beat them 9-4.

    Georgia (4-2) beat Stetson (Atlantic Sun) 9-8 in Game 2 of 3. Yesterday, the Dawgs beat them 12-2.

  3. That was a good game yesterday! I wondered for a while why we were playing sluggish but they finally came around! I will say that W&M has a pretty good team and those boys came to play so I hope the Tigers are better prepared today especially since it's a double header! Enjoy the game and geaux tigers!!!
  4. finally got to see some offense from LSU. maybe they just needed to be brought down to earth a bit. in any case, this team can respond when they need to. hopefully we can get some solid starting pitching because we used a lot of pitchers yesterday.

  7. Top of the 1st... Bourgeois starts on the mound for LSU.

    Bottom of the 1st... Gibbs RBI single hits Watkins in from 2nd.

  8. Top of the 2nd... Bourgeois gives up his first hit. Also gets his first strike-out (three of them!). After two innings... Bourgeois has struck out 3, walked 2, and gave up 1 hit.
  9. Bottom of the 2nd... Mahtook got a hit (LSU's 2nd hit of the game).

    Top of the 3rd... Bourgeois back on the mound. 1-2-3 inning. Gets strike-outs #4 and #5.
  10. Bottom of the 3rd... Watkins flies out, Nola walks, Dean flies out, Gibbs walks. Hanover reaches on an error. Bases loaded. Landry flies out.
