At least we're not down by 22 or more like the last four games.

LSU scored but called for a charge. That would've been a defensive foul back when I played. Basketball has really changed in the last 20 years. (for the worse in my opinion)

    USC 61
    LSU 56

    1:06 to play

Damn, flipped the game on just in time to see us cut it to 4, got my hopes up, and promptly had them dashed as the Cocks pulled away again.

No such thing as moral victories, but it's good to see them hang in there for an entire game for a change.

    That's the final...:(

I know some people knocked Dale Brown but I sure did enjoy making the NCAA tournament regularly and an occasional Elite 8 or Final Four.

This is really hard to watch. I know what Tulane football feels like.

I just got back from the game. The officiating was horrible. So Car was allowed to play much more physically than LSU was. On three occasions charges were called on us when the defenders feet were moving.

But at the end of the day So Car hit shots at the right time and we didnt.

The positives were Garrett Green hitting free throws, Stringer shooting well, and Malcolm White's Play was really good. As always Eddie Ludwig played hard, and chased down some critical rebounds. We had three figures in double digits, and once Ralston Turner works off the rust the offense should continue to get better. We are also playing better defense without Storm Warren, who is a solid defender.

I still think Trent is taking this program in the right direction. Once we get Ralston and Storm back at 100% we should be able to win a few ball games. We only need 1 more win to eclipse our SEC record from last year.

That wasn't a charge. I'd a called it a block to the body. Also, on a subsequent possession, White was literally pushed away from the goal on a lay-up and nothing was called. And they've call HS refs bad in the last few days.
