Basketball: Where are the fire Trent Johnson threads?

I was in Virginia this week wearing a LSU shirt when a guy approached me and said... "You have a great basketball coach."

He was a Nevada fan which is where Trent Johnson coached before heading to Stanford. He told me Johnson is a no nonsense type of coach and will make us proud of the program.

I think you can already see he expects players to be disciplined (on/off court), play fundamental basketball, represent LSU well, and play team basketball.

Given a few more players and a little more time, I expect this to be a regular Sweet 16 type of program. Hopefully the fans will pack the house and hopefully we'll be able to recruit a few high profile (Shaq, Chris Jackson type) players.

 

Did we really only score 38 points the other night.
I scoured the scores in USA today there was only ONE team in the entire nation to score less, I think it was Texas State.

Sheesh....

I went to my neighbors 9 year old basketball game and their team scored 34......
