They wore the special OKC jerseys a couple of nights ago in their last home game of the season. It was a one time exception allowed by the NBA (to have OKC jerseys). The jerseys are now being signed by the players, and being auctioned off with the proceeds to go to the Hornets charities, and I believe these specific proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity for building in Nola.
Took the words out of my mouth. I wish the best to all LSU players in the NBA but I just cannot watch any of them play unless maybe they are in the playoffs. Nothing about the NBA really excites me anymore.
One of the best power forwards in NBA History stands 6'6". Ben Waallace is 6'8" and 240, just like Bass. These stupid reporters are splitting hairs as if one inch ever made the difference in one player's career.
no one is saying he doesnt have a chance, but what % of 6'6" PF are better than 6'9" PF. youve got to be something special to do that. is bass special? i wouldnt bring up barkley as something bass can be. ben wallace? might as well bring up rodman. there's only one of these players in the league at a time--i doubt bass can be as good as them on D. sure bass has a shot, but he'll be fighting for a roster spot for a while because he cant dribble and doesnt have a good shot. if he had stayed at lsu longer maybe he'd be more secure.
My point is the height in basketball (much like those 40 times in football) mean less than people give them credit for...
