id tell you steve slaton had 2 costly fumbles in 3 carries and suffered an injury but then Id have to tell you who he was and what sport he played for you to understand.

Yeah it was said he was pretty unprofessional for such a high profile gig. Probably acted like Spurrier but doesnt have that clout to pull it off just yet. He is likely best suited for a mid-major like he currently resides.

Petrino or R. Rod. would fit in nicely at LSU. It would also be a upgrade.
with Bo Pel. defense and R. Rod offense with Louisiana athletes. Thats Scary!

    Please tell me you're joking!
    1. West Virginia lost 4-5 games EVERYyear under R-Rod until Miami, Va Tech and BC left. People here complain that Miles can't win the "big ones". Here's an Idea, lets hire a guy who's team's were average at best until all the "big ones" changed conferences.
    2. Louisville while successful, has done so in 2 weak conferences (C-USA & Big Least). Tommy Bowden was wildly successful in C-USA, but his last 4 seasons (not counting this season) has seen Clemson lose 4-6 games every year. We b**** when LSU loses 2 games.
Someone please explain to me how either of these 2 would be upgrades.
Miles in his first season @ LSU has the same number of double-digit win seasons as either Rodriguez or Petrino has for his career.

This is true, they have a really good AD...he handlded the Petrino flirtations the best way possible, firm yet forgiving. Emmert my first choice, would rather have him as System President but anyway we could get him would be good...then Jurich.
