Was bad, however we would not have this discussion if the senior kicker did not leave 7 points on the field from three VERY makeable kicks. Same guy missed two late several years ago at Utah, then Utah destroyed Alabama.
We would be having this discussion because TCU gave up 50 points to BAYLOR! Don't blame the loss on 7 points missed when 43 were given up. And, way to throw your CBs under the bus Patterson. Classy.
The season started off like this at Oklahoma (3 years ago?) when Bradford played chuck and duck and 28 points in a little over a quarter. The next two quarters plus were a little over 100 yards and only 7 points. Last night in the 4th quarter GP finally started figuring things out and Baylor had the last drive and that was it. Suffice to say if RGriffin III was in the SEC, he would still be one of the best QB's, especially this year. TCU defense was bad, however when you are number 1 three years in a row, those players leave eventually and the new ones have to learn the system.
Not quite. Baylor went into a shell and gave TCU time they shouldn't have had. They also cranked it back up with little difficulty once they fell behind. I will say your QB looks good and you have a nice offense.
Right. Some of you guys on this board act like LSU don't get into it's fair share of shootout games...
Do you think that the largest oline in the Big 12 (Baylor), RGRiffin III, Wright and the 245 lb RB could play in the SEC???? When Patterson loses he does not hug his players and cry. His CB's did suck and his defense is based on their skills which were not apparent last night. If ONE FG is made they win the game.:geauxtige
Cranked it back up???? It took a pass from the WR back to the QB to keep the drive alive on 3 and 10.
