Ill give you that. However, if your bench cant score, you cant beat the good teams. The Kentucky's of the world can take 3 starters out and still maintain scoring. If LSU takes 3 people out, the offense goes to sh*t. Guys who contribute in other aspects of the game do help, but they wont win it for you.

Ark is a very difficult place to win.

i certainly wasnt surprised by eary road losses or sec road losses. the georgia game was the first positive step, and believe it or not, the loss @ ark was the second positive step. we're in bigger trouble if we dont beat ole miss and auburn on the road or msu on the road.

losing to southern miss on the road wasnt that big of a deal. no one game, especially nonconf, is.

i wouldnt be shocked if davis and bass dont get drafted in first round. nowadays, even being a top 10 pro prospect in college often isnt good enough. so many picks come from high school and intl.

of course there are reasons the team can not be better than it is: short guards, little bench, very young, inconsistent perimeter shooting, but mostly no leader. again, i'll pin that mostly on hud, our senior

and lastly, many here would agree that, in many ways, brady is not a good recruiter

"player on the court who just arent scoring." well ark won and Thomas played 30 min--30 MINUTES--30 MINUTES and had 0 points--0 points--0 POINTS--ZERO POINTS. so, either a) heath is stupid--but, oh yeah, they won b)he contributes in other ways or c) your point is stupid

    i'll take b. no wait, c. hell, b and c.

Any theories on why Neltner hasn't played much the last two games? 3 minutes against Ark and only 7 against Auburn.

The 5 games prior to that he was averaging 15 minutes a game. I thought he was making a nice contribution to the team.

a 65 - 62 game is essentially a push. Put either team against a team with a bench and they get beat by 15.

Not that BOTH should not play but... Lazare has played well in the last few games and ever since it seems Neltner has not played much.

maybe brady plays neltner when tack isnt distributing the ball well because neltner can do some of that from the high post. tack has been playing better of late and i think lazare may be a little better defending the post or wing.

But neither one of them played in the second half hardly at all on Sat., so that kind of blows that theory.

i think that was because tack was a liability on D so whip was in and distributed the ball well enough. sometimes whipple is not quick enough to guard, but sometimes we need his size.
