    'Those people?!' How dare you!:hihi:

Really, all these snotty little organizations need to STFU. They won't be happy until every coach in America is non-white.

I think this is based on who they interviewed and not who they hired. I think it's dumb that LSU could have gotten a better grade by interviewing a token black guy who really had no shot at the job.

ive got little problem with this organization giving these grades. the best person should always be hired for the job. someone needs to make sure that the good ole boy network doesnt prevent the best coach from getting a job if he's black.

i dont think the # of black ncaa head coaches should be the same as the % of black ncaa football players just yet, but if they are given a fair shake the #s should approach that in the future.

I thinkI would be highly insulted if I was interviewed as a token candidate. We all knew LSU wanted a current head coach at a less the prominent program that had success. How many potential African American candidates would that be that we passed over? Serious question here.

This is so stupid. I remember South Carolina got in trouble for not interviewing a black candidate. Steve Spurrier was the guy they wanted, and they got him. They didn't have to interview a black candidate. For as long as this world is going, racism will never end.

I am writing the NCAA to start my own special interest group. I believe that schools are racists for recruiting many more black kids than white kids. After all, whites are a majority yet 80% of NCAA football players are black. Obviously, this is due to racial profiling by universities & should not be permitted.

Sign up sheets will be passed around tomorrow.

    PS: gumborue, you paying attention?

"Schools are evaluated on efforts to interview candidates of color, diversity of the hiring process"

I agree, there are not nearly enough Mexican and Asian coaches in CFB.

I think it does matter for recruiting, at least a little. It gives other schools ammo to criticize us. Anyway, I’d rather not have LSU perceived in a racist light.

Overall we got a D average with an A and an F along with 2 B’s and a C. I’m a little removed from skool, but isn’t that a 2.4 or C average? Maybe communication is a 6 hour course

    reasonable time: C
    communication: F
    candidate interviews: B
    search committee: B
application to the school's documented affirmative action policy: A
