BCS and the Polls

    Why not? The Big XII conference benefited a whole hell of a lot from the BCS pie last year. You don't think Mack's lobbying and the extra millions involved influenced OU, TTU, aTm,KU,NU,KSU,ISU coaches to vote for Texas over Cal? You really don't buy it? Get real.

    I don't think that the SEC coaches cared one way or another, but you better believe that the Big XII cared.

    Because of Texas making the BCS Bowl the Big 12 conference teams received about an additional $300,000 each, so no I don't think they were "pressured" into voting for them for money or in any other way, shape or form. And that isn't taking into acoount the money they would have received from the other bowl.

    I'll just agree to disagree if you won't. I just chuckle at most conspiracy theories.
