Anyone have a clue as to how the BCS picture would look using the old rules?

Not off the top of my head, but all you have to do is look up the computer polls on their respective websites. Most of them should have the real one and the BCS one.

I know Sagrian still computes one with Margin of Victiry and then the official one.

Thanks, I've seen that... just wondering what the final BCS totals would be, not just the computer poll part.

Well, we know the AP/ESPN polls:

    USC 2.0
    LSU 3.0

The losses are the same (1 each). Add them in and you have:

    USC 3.0
    LSU 4.0

The SOS portion isn't affected by the rule change, so we add that in. Then we add in the real computer polls and that'll tell us where we'd be.

I posted that a couple of weeks back. LSU would have a significant decrease (~6-8 points if I remember correctly). USC on the other hand went up by about the same.
