I never took Ramah seriously. Couldn't understand why anyone would. He never took off them P&G shades. And some of his assertions were pretty incredible. But when things unraveled, he jumped ship immediately.

My Bad! Who was it that Boise State beat? A lot of that night became a blur after we beat UGA and OU was pelted.

Damn I wish I was on a TF.com member back then. Why didn't any of y'all call me and tell me to join? Instead, I was up all that night in a conference call involving me, my dad, two cousins, and a uncle all spread out across the southeastern part of this country.

I hope Florida and the SEC does get screwed, I hate the current system.
NO Way OU should have played us for the NC after losing to Kansas State.
We should have played USuck and winnner take all.
Anyway I would have liked to kick their ass if possible but in all honesty we
probably would have played similar to the Oregon State game?
Sec teams seem to have trouble with Pac 10 teams no matter how much kool
aid you drink with the exception of Arizona?

You have a good point SD.....we need more and more coaches pissed with this system. Once the coaches of the powerhouse schools are on board, it will trickle up to the Presidents of the universities. It's inevitable. I think after this current system runs its course in 2009, we will see a playoff system of some sort, even if its only the BCS bowl winners getting to play for it (at least that would be 8 teams).

Isn't the +1 the most practical?

It's the most logical next progression. Yes. I actually believe that's why the BCS went to the plus one to "ease" into a playoff system. They even realize a playoff is inevitable, so they are trying not to scare off the Presidents of these universities. So they take it one small step at a time. It's coming.

I would rather 8 teams be in the mix, however. It would require 1 more week of football.
