bcs to add a 5th bowl game

    Nope, the 5th game has nothing to do with a playoff ... they are trying to satisify the Tulane's of the world by including more non-BCS schools in the mix!

    The Cotton Bowl facility is incredibly run-down and is close to being torn down.

    Personally and selfishly, I'd like to see the Frisco/McKinney area make a bid for the new Cowboys stadium. We're already getting the Dallas Burn up here at the Tollway and 720. Now, that wouldn't be centrally located, but Irving is pretty out of the way for those of us in Collin County.

    As for Dallas actually making a true bid for the 5th BCS bowl, don't hold your breath. The mayor, Laura Miller, is devisive and against such development, as a general rule. I wouldn't expect her to push for this.

    The bowl still exists, but changed to the ev1.net bowl this past year.

    This is being done to satisfy Mac Brown. He wants the BCS to go to 64 teams like the basketball tourney so Texass has a legitimate shot to get in.:shock: :shock: :shock: :D :D :D :geaux: :lsug:
