I believe Lache Seastrunk (we all remember him) had a 41.5" vert . That's what Mayock said yesterday, anyway.
I know 38.5 is incredible but there were 12 guys who went higher. I thought he'd be top 5. Maybe 39.5 or so. Doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. By the way, the record is 45". That's unreal.
Donald Washington. Ohio St. DB.... http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/Donald-Washington?id=80686 By the way, that's a cool website to show player's combine performances. Wish they had the wonderlic on there too.
Gerald Sensabaugh has the record at 46. But take into consideration how short OBJ is and 38.5 is remarkable
Take into consideration the mediocre career of one Gerald Sensabaugh. Btw, if OBJ were 6 ft vs 6'9" tall doesn't make a difference in how you would think about his vertical, unless the combines measure everyone using the same setting of the sticks. If that's the case, that's outrageously silly.
Good point, I wonder, do those sticks get adjusted based on your height? I've never paid enough attention to that. Stoner moment if so.
That's weird. It doesn't show up on the combine website. It must have been at a pro day or something.
