Odell Beckham Jr is ON FIRE! Since Nov. 1, he leads in the NFL in receptions (61) and receiving yards (866).
Mike Evans being considered is stupid. Jeremy Hill came in and stole the job of a top flight tailback in the league, Beckham is a fantasy football scoring machine, and Jarvis is a chain mover.
Odell Beckham Jr. 'the fire of the offense' December, 14, 2014 Dec 14 5:30 PM ET By Dan Graziano | ESPN.com EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Observed and heard in the locker room following the New York Giants' 24-13 victory Sunday over Washington: Beckham The talk was, of course, of rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and his three touchdown catches. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said, "He's the fire of the offense." Safety Antrel Rolle said, "Nothing this guy does amazes me." And fellow rookie Andre Williams said, "Odell is playing at the highest level. I catch the 'wow' moment at the end. I don't see him run his routes or anything. I just see him in the end zone, mostly." For Beckham's part, he believes he can do more. He chided himself for a first-half play on which he believed he should have gotten both feet in bounds, and of course for his error on the final punt return of the game. "I apologize to my special teams coach," Beckham said of the muff. "There's no better feeling than seeing your offense run on the field to take a knee at the end of the game."
Btw, from a receptions standpoint. Landry and Beckham are now tied with 71 receptions, that's the best in the league for rookies, and tied for 17th in the entire NFL.
If Cruz works hard and bounces back from his horrific injury Rueben is going to be on another team next year. Those guys just play at a different speed than he does. And it's really sad because he has the whole package. It's like he's content being mediocre. He's lost future millions with that "smooth" bullshit.
Reuben may need to move on, he has his chance to help. With Cruz out, he could have made a push, OBJ is the one that made a push. It's very hard to find 3 very good CB's on a Pro team, that's why CB's are needed come draft time. 3 very good WR's on a team, gives a D problems, an with a QB with a very good arm, who knows. I'd like to see him stay an be that 3rd WR with the Giants. He may have overstayed his welcome? As to what I was saying about DB's, the two LSU Jalens (Mills and Collins) have a choice to make, come out now or stay. Collins is a tall one with good size, he has had some good games this year and his stock has risen. Mills has played the corner and safety position, started from day one as a True Freshman, he too is one the Pros will look at very hard. As for Sr's on the DB's, Martin has a good shot at being drafted, has done a good job this year. Adams is the one next year to keep an eye on, the sky is the limit for him. He's the next great DB at LSU, or DBU/DBNFL.
