Shiner Bock, Newcastle, Dos Equis, Killians Red, but if I'm on a budget and have to go cheap I'll take Coors.

Everyday swilling beer -- Budweiser. Its affordable, always fresh, and you can get it anywhere.

Poker game sipping beer -- Guiness Stout. I drinks it slow, so that I stay reasonably sober.

Special occasion beer -- Dixie. But it sits on the shelf too long at most places. However at certain places that move a lot of Dixie and it is fresh, I love Dixie longnecks. The Alligator Bar moves Dixie. The old Dirty Pierres moved a lot of Dixie.

Beer I miss -- Jax and Falstaff. We drank a lot of those beers in high school and college because they came in 12-oz cans and the majors only came in 10's.

Samuel Smith Taddy Porter. At about 6 bucks a bottle, I don't get it that often, so my everyday beer of choice is anything in the Michelob family.

    great thread.

over time i have found that i like almost every beer.

mexican beers are spectacular. english beers are awesome. cold american cheapos are amazing. dark irish brews are fantastic.

a short list of my favorites:

    abita amber
    dos equis
    newcastle
    murphys irish stout
    turbodog
whatever comes in a huge case and is cheap

one time i brewed a clone of newcastle and it was amazing. i guess i pretty much love every beer. i miss living in baton rouge because i could go take the abita factory tour. anyone who lives within 100 miles of it should go immediately.

paraphrasing ben franklin: beer is proof god loves us.

Normally Miller Lite or Heineken depending on my mood.

Dos Equis in the green bottle, special lager over the amber for me.

I remember drinking plenty of Mickey's Big Mouths on base since it was plentiful and cheap.

Coors lite should only be drank by women.

In Mexico, all the locals said Corona is the piss beer and no one from there drinks it. kinda funny what marketing in the US does.
