    Lame brews?

    LAME BREWS?????

    Do some homework...

    Between all of the breweries I listed there's at least 20+ Great American Beer Festival Medals and 8+ World Beer Cup Medals...

    PLUS as an added bonus I know most of the brewers and
    ***DRINK THEIR BEER FOR FREE***

    I've been a micro fan for 20 years...

    Have been to almost 100 micros nationwide...

    You can have but ONE wife...

    ...but as many different kinds of beer that you might like...

    Variety IS the spice of life.... :grin:

    Has anybody ever heard of Boag's? Its a Tasmanian beer that an Aussie friend of mine raves about but I have never found it here.

    Of course, any beer was good when accompanied by cheese fries from The Chimes. That was quite the weeknight diversion while I was at LSU. My ex-boyfriend was on the original "Around the World" plaque, so we were there a lot. He went around the world three times.

    Louie's has good cheese fries as well. Their grilled cheese is superb.

    St. Arnolds out of Houston, Shiner, and a good Schlitz as long as its cold.:lsug:

    St. Arnold's makes an EXCELLENT Christmas beer...

    I have a friend in Spring who sends me a sixer every year....

    I love Bud Light the most

    Drink miller lite for the carbs

    Drink Candaian beer for the taste

    :eek:ldskule: Good to hear that others are enjoying some nostalgia brews. I, too, am sipping more Miller High Life, Schlitz, and Pabst Blue Ribbon than other more expensive beers.
