Those are the things I want improvement on. I dont want to see a few long runs give us decent yards when the overwhelming majority of runs get us nowhere. We have to rely too much on the passing game being on. They havent the last two games and it showed in the O. Although against UF the run game was very consistent. Like I said, Im fine with a loss if the product on the field is what it should be. Had LSU loss to Bama in Tusc in '11 I was fine with that. It was a GREAT game, between two great teams. I cant handle the last four losses though. Not when its the same replay.
You have a point, the last 4 losses are the same formula, poor qb play either the entire game or first half, a solid run game, a lead at the end blown by a defense giving up a late score. I get it, it does suck... Hell I hadn't smoked since the UGA game and did last night. But cest la vie.
It's like, peopple still do not realize that Ole Miss is and was far younger than this LSU team and not even playing with their starters.
