Kelley melted down in his after game press conference when asked about the offense. You know the offense that only had (10) 1st downs and (4) of (14) 3rd down conversions, the offense that without the 51 yr run at the end of the game would have only had 45 rushing yards for the game, the offense that ran (52) plays vs the other teams (76) plays, the offense with rushing yrds/game 179th in the country, the offense with total yrds/game 127th in the country, and the offense with points for ranked 100th in the country. Geez, what the hell are those incompetent sports reporters complaining about.
@Hou-duco I get that BK wants to rah-rah the defense and avoid talking about the problems, but berating a reporter who asks the question thousands of LSU fans wants answered makes him look weak. I see a lot of people defending him from the standpoint of "we had a great win and the first thing reporters want to focus on is the negative"... but the bits and pieces I'm putting together (I don't go to his pressers and rarely pay attention to them) suggest that Cauble is always putting him on the spot about the offense.... so if you know what's coming from him and you don't wan't to have to address it right off the bat, don't call on him first!
Burned Lagway with a sucker move. Showed him a big hole in the secondary, which Spears ran directly to the moment the ball was snapped. Lagway swallowed it hook, line and sinker.
I’m afraid we are nowhere near as good as we expected. Offense has got to massively improve. Feel like we have been here before, great D, offense, not so good.
Reading now on ToS that Nuss has an oblique injury preventing deep ball supposedly. Guess that also explains in ability to pull HO and walk 10yds as well. I smell secret playbook.
