Yep. Shoulda done it a long time ago. bet westwood would have a major by now, or mickelson another if the guys using them hadn't had the option to begin with. 3 majors just this past year won by guys using those putters.
Some pros with regular putters will have to make changes too. The shaft of the club can't be locked into the forearm anymore.
I haven't watched that close to those that use "men" putters. Who are you thinking does this? Elkington is killing them on twitter. He is a good follow if anyone cares.
The golf channel had a few examples of this. Can't recall names. I will see if I can find some... Myabe more common of the ones who grip the club while hands are laying on the thigh which is also prohibted now.
