That is not a matter of opinion. That is pure, unadulterated fact. And Gimp's right on #2. Most of their songs after Justice make me sick. But not to hijack this thread, so here's another great cover, though I'm probably biased b/c of how good the album is:
My Heavy Metal period was a little earlier . . .say 1970. Deep Purple, Blue Cheer, and Savoy Brown on 8-track tape rocked the old panel truck.
observations: 1. thats a sweet album cover red has posted 2. megadeth was awesome back in the rust in peace and countdown to extinction days. 3. like metallica, they became terrible later, the youthanasia album was an embarassment. when i still lived in baton rouge i went on vacation to new york and saw megadeth at hammerstein ballroom and they ruled. 4. this is the best album every made, or maybe the second best after moving pictures: i know this thread is supposed to be about cover art, not music, sorry bout that)
RTL -- I can understand that perspective Countdown to Extinction as better than RIP?:rofl::rofl::rofl:
for a few albums megadeth was terrible. cryptic writings was bad. then they got ok again with songs like motopsycho and return to hangar. i dunno what albums those are from though, i have been forgetting to keep track of megadeth. i have mo0ved on to more foolish music, like death metal.
