Re: Best Tailgating Atmosphere The ROCK is no better than a high school game. The stadium kills anything going on before the game. I can't believe they play there. I have not been to a game in Fayettevile but have seen the stadium. I was much more impressed. 1) LSU 2) Fla 3) Alabama 4) Tenn 5) Auburn 6) Arkansas Every been to a game in Jackson. That one tops them all for the worst!!!!
no one's mentioned georgia yet at all... I havent been to athens, but I hear they have a great bar scene around campus, and at the seccg we had a blast with the ga fans...
Re: Best Tailgating Atmosphere The stadium in Fayettville is up to NFL standards-first class all the way, but the atmosphere just sucks. Too many old farts sitting on their hands. Tailgating is weak because no open containers allowed on campus exept in designated areas and you have to pay to be in those. Little Rock is a dump--No doubt, but the locals cover up the golf course surrounding it with good Bar BQ and keg parties. At least that has been the case for the last 5-7 years when we roll our tigers into town. I've had a good time every year we play there. Of course I had to take some **** in 2002 when they beat us on the last second endzone bomb. But over all I've had good experiences. The Florida and Texass games I attended in Fayettnom were lame with the exception of a few pockets of hard core tailgaters looking to try and start some tradition.
