There are 1001 bars in Baton Rouge, if you find one where you can get a quiet drink, let me know.

Sports Bars -- I like Ivars and Walk-ons. Lots of screens.
Bar N Grills -- I like Georges and The Chimes
Live Music -- Varsity Theatre, The Caterie, Chelseas
    Young girls -- The Caterie
    Hot girls -- Chelseas
    MILFS -- Zee Zee Gardens
Pizza bars -- Pastime, Fleur de Lis

    Lots more. Lots.

I like the Wine Loft in Perkins Rowe and downtown.

Plenty of other good bars within walking distance downtown as well.

I used to go to Tabby's blues box. Worst bathrooms in the world. 5$ all you can drink draft beer from a keg and all you could eat hot dogs (if Tabby didn't eat them all already). They had picnic tables in it, served sodas from 2 liter bottles. A girl that we were with once asked for a Midori Sour and the lady just laughed at her and said she had no idea what that was. But I loved the place and the music was great. I heard its not there anymore but I'm not really sure.

I remember drinkin with lincoln at the library. Stumbled out of there many a night. It was right next to this Jamaican bar.

So where is a good place to go to hear some good Punk Rock, Ska, or Metal?

Everyone is raving about the Bulldog now. Bulldog was one of my favorite bars in New Orleans and I hear it's great in BR now. Been open just a few months. Not even totally sure where it is.
