On Moss St (North Lafayette)....They just moved almost directly across the street from where they were before. They are about 3-4 blocks north of the Northgate Mall...and TigerTreat you are correct---Pizza Village IS THE BEST PIZZA that I have ever eaten!! By Far!:)

Up here in food purgatory (Virginia), where salt and pepper - and very little of each - constitute the entire spice catalog, we expatriate Tigers would nearly kill for boudin and cracklins. There are a few Popeye's up here and I have been told on good authority that the seasonings in the chicken have been watered down for Virginia tastes. Pray for us!

No argument there TW. Man, that all meat pizza (I think it's a "Joe's Special" or a "Dupe Special", is "The best Jerry...THE BEST!" (Kenny Banya).

    Pig stand still open

Ray's has good boudin but just down the road the Eunice Superette has the best boudin in the area. At lunch time, there's at least 10-15 people in line for just boudin.

    FOR BOUDIN

There's a place in Jennings (don't know the name) that makes the best boudin I've ever tasted. A friend's parents used to live there and they would send us over some boudin all the time. I could eat that stuff all day long.

Now, we just have to get the store bought boudin. I'm partial to Richard's Boudin. Manda's isn't bad, but it's not as good as Richard's.

I never go to a tailgate without a couple packs of boudin.

I haven't tasted all the boudin in the world but some of the best I am familiar with comes from Abe's in Lake Charles and the smoked boudin from Leonards Food Quarters on Hwy 14 is pretty darned good too. I also like Abe's shrimp boudin.

Every time I go to Alabama to visit I have to take an ice chest full of boudin, tasso and hot links.

    LSUBud,

I'm originaly from Jennings and you are probably referring to the Boudin King, The same owners also have one in Crowly called The Cajun Way.

That sounds right TigerTreat. MAN, was that stuff GREAT. The store bought stuff just doesn't measure up. There's a place in Chalmette that sells "home made" boudin, but it isn't as good as the Richard's I get in the stores.

I wish I could get over to Jennings to buy that boudin before every game. But, coming from Metry, that's just too damn far out the way. The Richard's boudin will have to do.
