    1. Led Zepplin ( no brainer )
    2. Pink Floyd ( almost #1 )
    3. Black Sabbath or any group with the OZ man in it.

    5. Old JP ( preist for us metal heads ) if you've ever REALLy listened to some of KK downing and Glen tipton's guitar trade off's you'd be hooked.
    6. maybe the who, it gets fuzzy after #5. I could easily put the Police here.

    1. Skynerd or ZZ top it's a toss up.
    1 and a half= Stevie Ray Vaugh ( I dont care if he is an individual, he is amazing )

    4. Bob Seger
    5. 38. Special ( special forces is an all time great Cd )
    5 and a half. AeroSmith or Alice Cooper, maybe the Doors,

    6 ? Boston, Tommy Bolin, Kiss, Van halen and Montrose. Ronnie Montrose may be a brit?? but sammy H is a American.

    Oh and we cant forget Nazerth, HEart, three doors down.... lots of good american groups.
