I like Waffle House too but why wouldn't a place that specializes in waffles have better syrup than the generic crap that is the only option. Even IHOP has a variety of different syrups.

Waffle House is a double wide with a grill that smells like an indoor swimming pool.

IHOP is dead. They are now burger specialists, hadn't you heard?
When sitting in a double wide, it's more fun to sit next to your meal partner than across the table. I like Waffle House.

Doesn’t feel like eating on a stranded train car to you?

If my execution was scheduled in a summer or fall month I would request boiled crawfish. I wouldn't mind if I had to wait until they were in season.

Last time i ate at Waffle House i was nauseated for a couple of days. Think it was the waffle. Love Cracker Barrel. Also Panera Bread. And Chipolte on workout days (all those carbs). Don't watch Fox News, or any news. I pick and choose online content, trying to avoid tabloid or over sensationalized crap, like the illegal children saga. There's over a million homeless American children and some people are crying because some illegal familes got separated trying to sneak into the country. It's political shenanigans, I don't want to hear it, and i don't.

Death row meal for me would be from T Coons in Lafayette. Combo pork and beef stew, rice, beans, potato salad finished off with a cup of Mello Joy coffee and bread pudding. Ca c'est bon would smile as they fry me.

There used to be a Pancho's on Nicholson Dr. Last time I ate there I was about half drunk and fully stoned. I think it was in the late 70's. I stuffed my gut with all I could eat and then projectile vomitted in the parking lot before I got to my car.

Grub Burger Bar is good. Started here in College Station in 2012 and has expanded all over country. They have one in Lafayette now
