    I see Florida with much the same worry. Plenty of potential but their defense will learn as they go. Chavis is going to put his 4-2-5 defense out there for public inspection. Load up the box and put his corners on an island, as usual. So all in LSU Land is just hoping for more pressure and some resistance up the middle. "Tough" might get it.

    UNC is to have a news conference tonight...seems several players had papers written by their coaches "nanny." We will see.

    while i wouldn't quite go as far as you, the thing that i like to point out to the bammers is this: the SEC west (as a whole) is infinitely better than last season. good luck running through the west unscathed.
