    From the past 10 years the best I remember were:

    Denard Walker
    Mark Roman
    Cedric Donaldson
    Corey Webster
    Laron Landry

    One more note, I think one of the most talented guys to play DB for LSU recently was Greg Hill. But he got hurt and never could stay out of trouble.

    Greg Hill took the fall for Kevin Faulk and others in the "phone card scandal". He wasn't a bad guy, but he definitely "took one for the team".

    That entire scandal is why Carl Reese left LSU. It was never publicized as such, but Dinardo had no choice but to let him go, and Carl got the Texas gig.

    Wouldn't say he was the best, but Clearence Leblanc was one of my favorites.

    Clinton Burrell was a fabulous defensive back in the '70s. Played with the Cleveland Browns after that.
