Wisconsin doesnt even matter now...they've already accepted a bid from the capitol one bowl they could finish anywhere now and it wont even matter.
Worst absolute case: USC wins, Florida loses: BCS Standings: 1. Ohio State 2. USC 3. Michigan 4. LSU 5. Louisville 6. Wisconsin 7. Arkansas 8. Florida You tell me, as a Rose Bowl committee member, are you selecting Florida over LSU, having just watched Florida lose the night before? You can answer your own question in that case.
And the WORST of the WORST case scenario.... We play Wisconsin (#6 BCS) in the Cap 1 bowl, and have a great chance to finish #2 or #3.
Hey Guys, Explain to me why the current BCS rankings posted today has LSU as #10? It was updated today. Is that current? Here is the link http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/poll?poll=BCS
No, we are pulling for Florida so that there is no chance that either the Rose Bowl or Orange Bowl selects them over LSU. It might look painfully obvious the Rose Bowl should select us, but it's ultimately not up to us to decide. There's still lots of politics, financial scenarios, etc involved in the selection process. A Florida win and LSU is going to the Rose Bowl. A Florida loss and we are probably still going to the Rose Bowl. That's the difference, DEFINITELY VS. PROBABLY. I think we want the DEFINITELY option.
Well It had Arkansas at 10-2 and said it was updated today. When is the official updated list released?
It looks like all Fox did is update the W-L records. Everything else appears to be the same from last weeks BCS rankings.
