I was only 12 so I guess my memory was close. I just remember ND coming to Tiger Stadium and it being HUGE. I guess I got my years mixed up. Thanks for the clarification. :thumb:

You guys are forgetting 2 guys that helped us out in 97 when we knocked off the then ranked #1 gators in Death Valley. Cedric Donaldson and Rayon Hill. Granted they weren't the best, but they sure did make a mark in that big win to spark LSU's program late inthe 90s.

Chris Williams and Willie Teal from the late 70's/early 80's. Two outstanding Tiger CBs.

Casanova is probably the best choice. One of my favorites is from Arnsparger's time - I thought James Britt was an awesome cornerback. He wasn't exceptionally fast so "only" went in the 2nd round to Atlanta. They were very high on him as their shutdown CB but he got a severe knee injury.

Dorsey and Spears are good but I'm partial to guys like A.J. Duhe and Leonard Marshall.

Not the best and a safety rather than a cb - but this thread brought Greg Jackson to mind. He was a great player and a hard hitter.

I have always been partial to Ronnie Estay as a D-lineman. Way to small by todays standards but the guy could really play. Casanova gets my vote for best D-back.
