I like Mike Andersons too, and it is close to where I live.

    Any other seafood restaurants...??

Well I like Drusillas (SP) the times I ate there from Lafayette. I have eaten at Sammy's once so can't really rate it.

Phil's Oyster Bar is a good casual seafood restaurant.

I like Sammy's a lot. Hard to get a table, always packed. They have a good atmosphere and good crawfish.

That Magnolia Cafe actually burned to the ground about 1 1/2 years ago. I know because I had to put it out! It's relocated behind where the original was. It has very limited seating now. St. Francisville has The Oxbox which is a pretty good restaurant now. Other than that, not much here. My favorite happens to be Middendorf's in the North Pass.

Parrain's is outstanding. Shrimp/stuffed shrimp platter almost everytime.

Middendorf's had the best fried catfish in the world, how did they make it through the storm?

Dad lives just down the road from there, behind HillTop Inn. Haven't eaten there myself but I've never heard a bad word about the place.
