ok....i see 5 ways.....boiled, fried, baked, barbecued, and in a sauce.....my #1 preference is in a sauce....however, if you just want them on their own, then i'll take them baked coated with creole seaonings.....simple recipe: bunch of pounds of shrimp that have marinated in whatever seasoning you like for at least 4 hours. preheat oven to 350 degrees put on a cookie sheet lined with foil with the shrimp cook for 3-4 minutes then flip shrimp with spatula and cook for another 3-4 minutes take them out and put in a bowl and pour the residual juice from the sheet on top....it is louisiana popcorn at its finest.......
An excellent sauce for cooking shrimp that way is to melt some butter and add worcestershire sauce, Pick A Pepper Sauce, seasonings and crushed garlic. Top the shrimp with thinly sliced onions and broil. When the shrimp are cooked dip some slices of french bread in the sauce and toast in the oven. Serve open faced.
