The Saints say he's a running back. Since they sign his paychecks, I'll take their word for it.

So, on a swing pass..........is the "Back" catching the ball a "Receiver"?

thats because a number 80 cannot line up in the backfield.

also, the saints had aaron brooks listed as a QB for many years.

If Bush is going to be put out there then Ya might as well put Kevin faulk in there too since he has 3 rings and a ton receptions.
    LSU wins

Then I guess if we were discussing current college RB's, you'd have to include Pat White and Tim Teabag?

He has a great chace of being a underratted WR in the NFL for many years. He isnt flashy and he gets the ball ever so often but you can not discredit the fact that he was the leading WR in Yards per Catch last year in his 3rd year. Some NFL rankings had him the most consistent WR stats wise in the NFL last year.

Are you kidding me? 3 pages on a ramah jr. thread?

    I'll humor it, though.

Reggie Bush is a tailback. End of discussion. Tailbacks can catch passes out of the backfield. He never lines up wide, he doesn't have to.

To be honest, right now the only impact receiver from either school is Kennison, and he shouldn't be part of the discussion anymore. The others mentioned have, in my eyes, really not stepped it up.

EDIT: I lied, I forgot Devery. We win.

That is completely inaccurate. Reggie could not wear #5 if he was a wide receiver. He could have had #15. The only way he would be able to use #5 is if the NFL changed its rules.

Also, Reggie is a running back. That's obvious. However, he's such a gifted athlete and player that if he wanted to be a wide receiver, he would easily be one of the best in the business. That would be a waste of his talents, however, as a wide receiver touches the ball substantially less often than a tailback does.
